What We’re All About

Sukha Soul Yoga Retreats was born from a simple belief: when we pause, breathe deeply, and connect with ourselves, we create space for more joy and ease in our lives. “Sukha” in Sanskrit translates to ease or good space — and that’s exactly what these retreats are designed to offer.

Rooted in yoga, mindfulness, and community, our retreats are carefully crafted to balance practice with play, stillness with adventure, and personal reflection with heartfelt connection. Each experience is about more than yoga — it’s about remembering what it feels like to slow down, savor the moment, and come home to yourself.

Meet the Founder

Hi friends! I’m Taylor — yoga teacher, retreat leader, and devoted student. Originally from the east coast, my journey with yoga began as a personal path to heal both physically and emotionally a chronic health condition. For me, finding yoga was a means of making peace with my body.

I completed my teacher training in Abhaya Yoga Brooklyn back in 2015, and soon after, I took a leap of faith and quit my job to work at a retreat center in the Canary Islands. That experience taught me how transformative a retreat can be — and how much joy there is in hosting, creating space, and guiding others on their journey. Since then, I’ve been teaching yoga to students of all ages and abilities, in homes, studios, and retreat settings.

As a full-time instructor for the past 11 years, I specialize in teaching private in-home sessions, helping students of all ages and abilities move, breathe, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel deeply personal and supportive. I love bringing the same care and intention to every retreat I host.

I’m so excited to meet you on the mat, under the sun, or somewhere in between — and share a little bit of the magic that retreats can bring!
